What Are You Reading? was first hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. If you’d rather follow folks who are reading books for grown ups, you should follow her Monday meme. I am participating in the kidlit version of this meme (although sometimes I actually read books for grown ups).
In print: I have a HUGE STACK of things I am picking at. I am working on reviews for Library Media Connection, so I have a few I’m reading for that. I am also reading The Marvels by Selznick and Naptime is the New Happy Hour by Wilder-Taylor. I love having choices – I don’t love reading all of them at the same time! Ack!
Listening to: I’m kind of obsessed with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor at the moment. I listened to Gummi Bears Should Not Be Organic a few weeks ago, which made me want to reread Sippy Cups are Not for Chardonnay. These books are basically funny “mommy” essays. I think anyone would find her writing humorous, but if you have a little kid (and you are the kind of gal – like me – who wasn’t really baby obsessed before you had your own little kid) you will be peeing in your pants laughing at these books. The audio books are especially fantastic because she is reading them.
