2015 – 2016 Weeks 2 – 4

Hello friends!

We’ve had a busy couple of weeks in my library! We have pretty much wrapped up all of the orientation and “how to” lessons – I’ve covered book care with Kindergarten classes, self-checkout with 2nd – 5th grade classes, and library catalog with 2nd – 5th grade classes. I sent out my September newsletter and have spent time planning LOTS of fun activities that are happening in the next month or so.

I attended the National Book Festival over Labor Day weekend. My annual Nerdcation trip with librarian friends was fun and book/author filled (as always).

We have resumed our visits with Emily, a registered therapy dog. She comes once a week and kids read to her. It is always the highlight of my week.

This week, we are celebrating DOT DAY! We celebrate all week long and I will share our activities in the next blog post.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL day!
