#imwayr It’s Monday! What are you reading?! 3.2.15

What Are You Reading? was first hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. If you’d rather follow folks who are reading books for grown ups, you should follow her Monday meme. I am  participating in the kidlit version of this meme (although sometimes I actually read books for grown ups).

In print:  Finished reading OCD, The Dude, and Me by Vaughn. I liked it, but I wish we had found out what exactly had happened to the main character’s best friend earlier in the book. So much more could have come from the main character and the story – the book would have been better, I think. I can’t really say much without giving anything away, but the ending was odd and seemed to fit better somewhere else. I started an early reader chapter book for a review I’m writing for Library Media Connection and I plan to start another book later today!

Listening to: Yes, Please by Poehler was excellent. Now listening to Fish in a Tree by Hunt. This is a book everyone is talking about and it keeps showing up in the blogs and Twitter feeds I read…and, I can totally see why. Very good.

What are you reading?

PS – I have started my maternity leave! There is no actual baby (yet), but I still plan to update my Monday readings…they just may be more board books than anything else for awhile 🙂
