Maker Corps Camp Week 13 @make @makeredorg #possibilities #myjobisfun #summerlearning

It’s hard to believe I have been a part of Maker Corps for 13 weeks! It is also hard to believe how quickly the program is wrapping up (at least my part of it at my host site – I think I’ll always feel like a part of Maker Corps!).

Because of the holiday (Happy 4th of July!), we had a break from Maker Camps this week. So, the Maker Corps folks at my host site focused on revising all of the programs we have been coming up with for the upcoming year. We have spent a lot of time brainstorming awesome programs and projects that can be done in the various areas of the makerspace at EdVenture. We each took the ones we felt most comfortable with and wrote up directions for how to do or create those projects. Now, we are each reading all of the write ups and editing/asking questions/revising. It’s important work.

Next week, our Maker Camps will start again, so we’ll have more hands on fun…I hope you had an awesome maker week!
