It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 5.13.2013

What Are You Reading? was first hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. If you’d rather follow folks who are reading books for grown ups, you should follow her Monday meme. I will be (mostly) participating in the kidlit version of this meme (at least I think so….right now).

In Print:

Lions of Little Rock by Levine Not too far into this one yet, but I like it. Takes place in 1958. I like the voice of the characters. The main character, Marlee, is a painfully shy middle schooler who seems to be taken advantage of quite a bit.

Listening to:

How to Save a Life by Zarr Young adult novel…this one takes place in present day. There’s all kinds of drama in this one. Some love story, some sad story, mother/daughter stuff…it’s all here. And, it’s good.

At school:

Books about ocean animals with Kindergarten
