It’s Monday! What are you reading? 5.6.2013

What Are You Reading? was first hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. If you’d rather follow folks who are reading books for grown ups, you should follow her Monday meme. I will be (mostly) participating in the kidlit version of this meme (at least I think so….right now).

Sooooo, even when I don’t blog a “It’s Monday! What are you reading?” post…I’m still reading. I just want you to know that, okay?

In Print:

With a Name Like Love by Hilmo Still reading! Having a hard time staying interested in the characters. Not sure why…when I am actually reading it, I enjoy it, but I don’t want to pick it up to continue reading when I have a chance…I tend to read something else instead. What’s up with that? I will finish it because it is a South Carolina Children’s Book Award Nominee for 2013-2014!

Listening to:

The Phantom TollBooth by Juster The first time I read this book, I fell in love with it. It is a delightful read. Love the wordplay in this book…it was the book I gave away for World Book Night, so I wanted to reread it for that event. So good!

At school:

Books about ocean animals with Kindergarten
