Let’s play BASEBALL!

So, as you know, Phil Bildner visited my school earlier in the month and it has been all baseball, all of the time in my library. So, why not a baseball-themed story time?!

Batter up!

We listened to my Bildner playlist on Spotify (all baseball songs)

I read Let’s Play Baseball by DeGezelle

We did some stretches “like baseball players would do” (what is funny about this is, I really have no idea what kind of stretches they would do 😉 ) We did jumping jacks, touch your toes, jog in place, etc.

I read Baseball Hour by Nevius

We played this baseball toss game from Oriental Trading Company

Our craft was to make/decorate a baseball from a circle on some paper and cut it out. Easy!

The snack was baseballs and baseball bats (AKA marshmallows and pretzel sticks)

Simple and FUN!
