It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (on a Tuesday) 10.29.12

What Are You Reading? was first hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. If you’d rather follow folks who are reading books for grown ups, you should follow her Monday meme. I will be (mostly) participating in the kidlit version of this meme (at least I think so….right now).

I can’t believe I forgot to send this yesterday! Forgive me 🙂

Here’s what I’m reading:

In print- Bhagavad Gita: A New Translation

In print – Dare Me by Megan Abbott

NEW! I am going to start including what I am reading to the kids at school each week…

At school – Grace for President by Kelly DiPucchio (Kindergarten)

At school – The One and Only Ivan by Applegate (4th grade)

At school – Because of Mr. Terupt by Rob Buyea (4th grade)

You know what else I’m reading? Endless Facebook status updates, my Twitter feed, Edmodo posts from students, and lots of emails.

Happy Tuesday! Hope any readers hit by Super Storm Sandy are safe and sound!

Love your site. Can you tell me how much time each period at school is? You do such fabulous things with your students!

  2. Thank you, Sunny! My fixed Kindergarten class and my 5th grade Media Technology class is a planning period for teachers, so they are with me for 45 minutes – once a week for Kindergarten; 3 days a week for the 5th graders. The rest of the lessons and activities are flexible with how long they take…usually no more than an hour. I hope that answers your question 🙂
