Quick post this week!
Can you believe that it is almost the end of the school year? I can not. In fact, it is hard for me to believe that some people (according to my Facebook newsfeed) are already finished! That’s crazy! We still have a couple (few?) busy weeks left. For me, this means BOOK FAIR! All last week was spent telling kids about book fair and sharing the Author Video that comes with the fair. This week, we will shop.
With the end of the school year comes reflection, of course. I’d really rather not think too much about this school year – because my mom was diagnosed August 4, much of my school year involves memories of her. Mostly, what we weren’t able to do together this year (or, on better days, what we WERE able to do together this year). With that said, I am very much looking forward to the summer so that I can really get my thoughts together and plan for the new year. Summertime holds a lot of promise and hope this year. I am excited about:
1. Plans at my school for the new year (which we will be working on the last few days of school as a faculty).
4. LMFAO concert with Marty (yes, we will be the oldest people there and we don’t care!)
Have a great week, friends!
