Back to School Goodies for Teacher Friends

Update! Hope the pics show up now? I don’t think they were? Sorry!

A few weeks ago I asked what folks to for teachers at the beginning of the school year. After looking around Pinterest, I came up with a few ideas and I wanted to share them!

I’ve mentioned that the school libraries in my district are going through some changes. To introduce our new name to my teachers and to try to explain a little about what it means – I made these (bags of Now and Later candy with a folded over postcard – created with the postcard template in Publisher – explaining what happens in the Learning Commons):

I also wanted to give something to my fellow district librarians, so I made these (idea from Pinterest):

Too bad I forgot to give them out at our meeting! Oh well. I sent the above picture to all of them with the promise that I will bring them to our NEXT meeting.

Finally, I gave these to the new librarians in our district (another idea from Pinterest):

And those were my back to school goodies this year!

What did you end up doing?

PS-Because I have asked for healing thoughts for my mom on this blog, I want to give a quick update. She has cancer (scary, stage 4 kind). We are hoping for the best and we are trying to stay upbeat, because what is the point of sticking around if you are just around a bunch of sad sacks all the time, right? So, thank you for your thoughts. She still needs them. I will not write about it much on this blog, because she wouldn’t want me to do that, but I did want to update my readers. Thank you.
