I wonder if I don’t blog much because I’m stuck in status updates and other things that I must say in less than 140 characters.

Don’t have much to update since the end of March…April and May have flown by. Mostly because I was getting ready for Jackie’s wedding. It was wonderful and happy and she is off on her honeymoon – congrats to David and Jackie!

Here are some things I’m thinking about:

*Planning my Children’s Materials class and thinking about what to do with them to make it fun yet educational. It is another 4:30 – 7:15pm class that meets once a week and those are hard. There’s no way around it.

*I’m thinking of spending less time on FB. What a time sucker and really, WHY?! I sit there and look at pictures of people I don’t really know, read status updates of people I should just pick up the phone and call (as well as those I don’t know at all) – and think of all the books I could be reading during the time I spend on FB! I’ll let you know how the weening of FB goes…it starts soon.

*Right now, I’m listening to:  http://www.ted.com/talks/sir_ken_robinson_bring_on_the_revolution.html

*I’m ready for the school year to be over. I have lots of ideas and I’m ready to have time to think them through.

*I’m going to San Francisco.

*I think I want an iPad, but do I REALLY?

*I love my iPhone…it is attached to my hand when I am not at work.

I too am thinking of bailing on FB. I want an ipad too for no other reason than to just have one more gadget. Sigh.

Im going to St Louis with the guys who have tickets to a couple of cards games, and Im going to DC for ALA. Summer is rapidly filling up.

The class sounds cool. Why not ask them to do something with VoiceThread, Animoto, or Moviemaker (book trailers) as a way to do a digital paperbag boo report?

Its a thought. Gotta go, the ADD is kicking in.
