I’m like a sponge…sorta

To quote my new blog service, “Hello World!”

Welcome to Library Goddess, my new “professional” blog. My pal Mary Haddon gave me the idea of having a professional blog…a place where you put links and share with others what you are learning. It’s a good thing…my kids at school probably don’t care much about RSS feeds or the new things I’ve learned about my podcast, but I bet my library friends do.

In the next few days, I will transfer all things “professional” to this blog. I have created it using WordPad…only because I couldn’t figure out how to set up my blog using what Mary used (EduBlog). Sometimes, I am not as tech-savvy as I let on.

Thanks Valerie. I am going to do this too. I have a blog for my teachers too, but you are right. It is professional in nature, and probably not of much interest to anyone who is not an educator. I’m going to research the move too. Thanks for the informative info posted about blogging and podcasting (how to). I feel like I’m a quick learner, but I WAS feeling fuzzy on how to use the PC to podcast. Your explanation cleared it all right up for me. Good timing too, since next week I begin a podcasing project wih fifth grade.

I’m also interested in creating a weekly school news podcast (events and happening, interviews, etc.) It may begin though as a once a month thing until I get a handle on what exactly it is we are doing.
